Picking up after Season 6, Deku, Kacchan, Todoroki, Class 1-A and the Pro-Heroes band together to combat the Paranormal Liberation Front led by Shigaraki. This time he and All for One are in cahoots. Thus, the stakes further escalate. All twenty-one episodes of My Hero Academia’s seventh season are available on Crunchyroll. It received positive reviews from critics, fans and streamers alike.
“My Hero Academia’s eight and final season will conclude Deku’s story in 2025. The exact same year James Gunn’s upcoming “Superman” kickstarting films in the DC Universe. As a fan of “My Hero Academia,” I wanna share my thoughts on Season 7.
Today’s review contains no crucial SPOILERS.
Mighty & Weak Qualities
Mighty: Voice Actors reprise their roles from previous seasons. They all did a superb job for their respective performances.
Fun Fact 1: I met Justin Cook (Kirishima) and Chris Rager (Cementoss) at Fan Expo Dallas 2024. I am eternally grateful I met them. I got plans to save up more money to meet more celebs. That’s my early New Year’s Resolution for 2025.

Fun Fact 2: During the show’s Opening Credits, Bones Studio turns 25. They’ve been around since 1999. Same animation company that made “Fullmetal Alchemist,” “Mob Psycho 100” and one of my all-time favorite anime shows, “Eureka Seven.”
Animation brings elements to life such as character models, environmental locations, fluid movement, lighting etc.
Action Sequences are bigger than last time. Many characters have their awesome moments duking it out.
Pacing for each episode didn’t take forever. I was on the edge of my seat.
It’s not required to watch “My Hero Academia: You’re Next” before watching Season 7. It takes place after Season 6. Don’t worry folks, I’ll review the fourth movie someday.
Despite an emotional roller coaster regarding an epic battle between good and evil, there’s some funny jokes.
Deku’s chemistry with Class-1A and the Pro-Heroes plays an important role.
The show’s influenced by Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man Trilogy, “Harry Potter,” “X-Men,” “Dragon Ball,” “Naruto” & “Ultraman.”
Season 7 primarily focuses on the Final War Arc. We’re getting closer to the manga’s final story arc, the Epilogue Arc.
As I’ve mentioned on my previous reviews, my Top 5 characters from the show are listed below.
- Kirishima/Red Riot
- Tsuyu Asui/Froppy
- Mineta/Grape Juice
- Jiro/Earphone Jack
- Tokoyami
Mirko’s my favorite Pro-Hero. Glad she’s helping Class 1-A.
Star and Stripe is based on Supergirl. Her quirk is to commend a new rule.
A spy working for All for One is revealed changing everything since Season 1.
We learn about more context on various characters including Dabi, Toga & All-Might.
There are a few shocking moments that’ll make your jaw drop adding emotional levity.
Last episode sets up the eighth and final season.
Weak: I couldn’t find nothing wrong. I’m giving Bones Studio an Extra Point for making a flawless season as possible.
The Final Verdict: A, FOR APEX!
My Hero Academia’s seventh season kept me on the edge of my seat. I cannot wait for the final season. It’s gonna be an emotional ending. I wanna see Mineta & Tsu become a couple. They are perfect for each other. If you’re already caught up on Season 6, watch Season 7 right now. Don’t forget to buy “Dragon Ball Sparking Zero.” Definitely worth your hard-earned cash. Now I’m officially caught up on My Hero Academia, which anime series should I watch and review next? Please leave a comment and don’t forget to subscribe.
